It is a voyage that forces you to replenish your thirst with the tears of yesterday

One that introduces you to pain so deep survival becomes questionable 

It was on this long walk that you all met

Acquainted with thirst and tribulation you gathered,

You planned, you advanced

And as your feet hit the light of the next day,

Or you sung with crickets as tomorrow came

You gathered the materials used to strengthen your steps

Each victory shortening the distance to your goal

A group bound together by the pursuit of excellence.

And 35 years later here you are

Stars that refuse to dim despite the suffocation of the world

You all still shine even brighter than when you were first lit

So much so that you brighten the night sky
